DESCRIPTION:** SIGN UP HERE**​ \nThe Deep Cove Run Club is excited to kick off its first event of the 2026 season\, Cabin Fever – you’ve been hiding inside long enough. It’s time to shakeout the cobwebs! \n​This year\, we are excited to be bring a new partner onboard: Precision Fuel & Hydration\, read below to find out about your discount! \n​Throughout the year\, you will have the opportunity to compete in 3 different events\, with 3 different profiles. \n​​Times are added up after each event so participate in all 3 to get your final ranking! There will be significant prizes for podium finishers both men/women! \n\n​On the menu for this first send of the year\, we have 20km and 900m of vert. Full course map can be found here. \n​You’ve asked for them\, we’ve listened and are excited to share that the courses this year will be ‘mostly’ flagged. We strongly encourage everyone to download the route on their watch\, but flagging will be significantly better than last year. \n​Bib pick up is between 7h45 and 8h15 AM on race day at Park Gate (here). \n\n​Aid stations 🎉\n​We will have an aid station at Parkgate Park (at the start/end)\, as well as at the Mushroom parking lot. Precision Fuel & Hydration has kindly stepped in to offer fuel for the runners. Water\, snacks\, electrolytes and gels will be provided. Start time is 8.30 AM\, please pick up your bib before 8.15 AM. We will not wait for any late soul. \n​To spice things up\, two Queen/King of the hills segments will be created. One of them will represent the fastest time on one uphill and the other the fastest time on one downhill. These segments will be shared closer to race day. \n​We will be tracking times via our fantastic team of volunteers. Throughout 2025\, you will have the opportunity to compete in 3 different events\, with 3 different profiles. \n\n​Fast and flowy trails on Seymour.\n​Steep and technical trails on Fromme.\n​A bonus event that we are keeping secret for now.\n\n​Times are added up after each event so participate in all 3 to get your final ranking! \n​To kick it off\, we are starting with an old time classic\, the training ground for most DCRC runs\, you’ve guessed it: Seymour. On the menu\, we have 20km and 1000m of vert. Full course map can be found here. \n​**This course is not flagged.
